Izumo is the city of Shimane Prefecture, Japan [1]. Izumo is Eiji's hometown. Even Eiji asks Ash to join him to Izumo to make Ash live in peace without gun [2][3].
Eiji when lives in Izumo also being told in the side story Fly Boy in the Sky.
