Carter Wilson, also known as the "Bluebeard of Cape Cod," is a side character in Banana Fish and Ash Lynx's childhood little league coach and first rapist. In the manga, his name is Robert Peterson, who is an employee of a real estate company.
History[]
He was an army veteran who lived past the hills in Cape Cod and achieved a lot in Afghanistan. During his service, he gave the U.S. Military detailed information about enemy military operations and helped dismantle them from the inside out. After completing his service, Wilson bought land in Large Hill, Cape Cod where he started construction on his home.
With his distinguished service under his belt, he quickly won over the trust of the townspeople, being known as a good-hearted man who would often offer advice to his neighbors. He coached the boys' little league baseball team and was well-loved by the kids. The team was so popular that every boy in town wished to join at least once. Ash was on the team as well. He was reported for rape by Ash and his father but was not investigated because of his good reputation in the town. The townspeople loved him so much that they accused Ash, an 8-year-old, of seducing him.
Ash eventually killed him with a gun that he took from his father. After his death, the police investigated his house and found the bones of numerous children in his basement. This earned him the nickname "The Bluebeard of Cape Cod".
