The BANANA FISH Art Journal Exhibition was an event taking place in Tokyo and Osaka during March and April 2019. The event showcased about 400 art materials, including original drawings from the creators of the BANANA FISH anime. Special limited merchandise was sold exclusively to ticket holders.
Venues and hoursEdit
The Tokyo event was held in the Seibu Ikebukuro Department Store in the second floor gallery between the hours of 10am and 9pm. It closed at 8pm on March 31st and 6pm on its last day, April 1st. Admissions were accepted until 30 minutes before close each day.
The Osaka venue was the Abeno Harukas building's fourth floor event space. The event was open each day from 10am to 8pm and closed at 5pm on its final day, April 15th. Admissions were accepted until 30 minutes before close each day.
A regular ticket is a press pass-style card, and attendees had the option of buying a limited neck strap with their ticket. A regular advance ticket cost ¥1,800, or ¥3,300 with the inclusion of the neck strap. A ticket bought at the door cost ¥2,000, or ¥3,500 with the inclusion of the neck strap. Advance tickets could be purchased online or in-store through Animate and Lawson convenient stores in Tokyo and Osaka for their respective locations. Preschoolers and the handicapped and one companion could enter for free.
