Abraham Dawson (エイブラハム・ドースン, Eiburahamu Dōson) is the younger brother of Alexis Dawson and member of Dino Golzine's mafia as the top researcher/developer of Banana Fish.
Appearance[]
Abraham has fluffy orange hair and often wears glasses. He can most often be seen wearing a suit under a lab coat.
In the manga, his hair is thinner and flatter, and his face was somewhat chubbier. He also had a slightly older appearance compared to his anime version.

When it comes to his own life, he is quite cowardly, begging Ash to spare him after he killed Griffin in cold blood and dissected Shorter's body. He's also a very selfish person who cares only for his own benefit and doesn't care about the lives he took in order to gain power and money from mob bosses he works under.
History[]
He lived at 102, 42 Westwood, Los Angeles with his older brother Alexis Dawson. While he was still a young medical student, he and his brother accidentally created Banana Fish. Although his brother wanted to destroy the drug due to the potential danger and damage it could cause, Abraham didn't destroy the sample as he viewed it as a golden opportunity and instead continued trying to perfect it throughout his adulthood and his time in the army where he tested it on fellow soldiers, including Griffin Callenreese.

Relationships[]
- Dino Golzine: He worked for Golzine and enjoyed all the mob boss's protection and resources on account of his importance to Banana Fish. While he respected Golzine due to his influence, he also highly feared the mob boss as he has seen his cruelty firsthand.

- Griffin Callenreese: During the war in Vietnam/Iraq, Abraham drugged a number of soldiers in order to perfect Banana Fish and for his own satisfaction as he mentioned everyone looked down at him in the army. However, Griffin wasn't like the others, but when he found out the truth or at least got too close, and so he drugged him to keep the truth from being exposed.
